Yesterday tested the French bistro Boheme at Esplanaden 8. Very French indeed with a nice interior and interesting menu, with some classics like foie gras and snails.I Started off with Jerusalem artichoke soup scented with truffle and served with apple and bacon. Good and sound starter, with nice flavours and textures, but nothing really to blow your mind off. Continued with the main course of a Skate wing in browned butter accompanied with capris, dill and new potatoes and baked tomatoes. Again a descent dish but still about average one without any surprises. I skipped the desert and the wines this time and felt a bit disappointed overall for the experience as there are many other restaurants in Copenhagen that fit in this category as an average, but nothing to write home about restaurants.
